87% der deutschen Bürger verstehen lt. der Gesellschaft fürdeutsche Sprache das Amtsdeutsch von Behörden nicht. Einen Antragbeim Jobcenter auszufüllen, bedeutet für viele Menschen daher eineHerausforderung. Eine besondere Hilfe erhalten ab sofortGebärdensprachler: Sie können sich mittels einer App die Formularein Deutscher Gebärdensprache (DGS) erläutern lassen. AndreasCostrau und Benedikt J. Feldmann (beide taub) gebärden in Videosdie Inhalte der Formulare. Für fünf Formulare ist dieser Service absofort verfügbar:
• Hauptantrag
• Antrag für Kosten der Unterkunft (KDU)
• Anlage WEP für eine weitere Person ab 15 Jahren in derBedarfsgemeinschaft
• Verantwortungs- und Einstehensgemeinschafts-Antrag (VE)
• Anlage BB für besonderen Bedarf

Besonderheit der App: Die Inhalte wurden nicht 1:1 von Schrift-in Gebärdensprache übersetzt, sondern in Zusammenarbeit mit demJobcenter Reinickendorf auch inhaltlich erläutert. Wichtig: Die Appbesitzt keine Rechtsverbindlichkeit, sondern unterstütztGebärdensprachler beim Ausfüllen der Formulare.
