The current paper-form based process for UNJSPF CertificateofEntitlement, to prove a beneficiaries eligibility forcontinuedpension, caters to over 70 thousand beneficiaries locatedin morethan 190 countries. As is uses postal services, the processis veryslow and cumbersome. This is a pilot programme to use mobileandblockchain technology for generating Digital CertificateofEntitlement. The App uses facial biometric technology,livenesscheck and geo-location to submit a digital certificateofentitlement to a blockchain. Use of location help theUNJSPFprovide services to the Track 2 beneficiaries. All user dateisstored securely either in the App or in data centres protectedbyUN Privileges and Immunity. No cloud-based services are usedforprocessing of user information. During the pilot, the paper-formCEprocess will continue so that the beneficiaries are notdeniedtheir pension.
