Royal Albert Hall is a concert hall on the northern edge ofSouth Kensington, London, best known for holding the Proms concertsannually each summer since 1941. It has a capacity (depending onconfiguration of the event) of up to 5,272 seats. The Hall is aregistered charity held in trust for the nation and receives nopublic or government funding.

Since its opening by Queen Victoria in 1871, the world's leadingartists from several performance genres have appeared on its stageand it has become one of the UK's most treasured and distinctivebuildings. Each year it hosts more than 350 events includingclassical concerts, rock and pop, ballet and opera, sports, awardceremonies, school and community events, charity performances andbanquets.

Wellington Arch, also known as Constitution Arch or (originally)the Green Park Arch, is a triumphal arch located to the south ofHyde Park in central London and at the western corner of Green Park(although it is now isolated on a traffic island). Built nearbybetween 1826 and 1830 to a design by Decimus Burton, it was movedto its present position in 1882–83. It once supported an equestrianstatue of the 1st Duke of Wellington; the original intention ofhaving it topped with sculpture of a "quadriga" or ancientfour-horse chariot was not realised until 1912.
