The idea for this mobile app came from the 2014 IEEE PESGeneralMeeting mobile app. The conference app allowed attendees tosharepictures and comment, and this activity stream was verypopularwith hundreds of photos and comments. In the next year,IEEEvolunteers and staff discussed a technically-focusedinitiativethat would make picture-taking and video-recordingfunctionalitymore broadly available to engineers on a mobileapp.
