Description

This application allows novice nursesandnursing students to search for over 340 common diseasesanddisorders, separated by body system. Once the disease/ disorderisselected, the user will be able to have useful information rightattheir fingertips, including a nursing process approach tomanagingclient care. There are simple explanations of what each ofthediseases/ disorders are and common assessment findingsassociatedwith them. In addition, useful information is includedthatincorporates priority assessments needed for clients withtheselected disease/ disorder. Potential applicable NursingDiagnoseswith related factors and client goals are alsoincorporated.Appropriate interventions are outlined to help guideclient careand encourage a comprehensive approach to managingclient care.These can be especially useful when studying forNCLEXexaminations, developing client-centered care plans, and inacutecare medical-surgical settings. Finally, the nursing processwouldnot be complete without an evaluation.
