Ministerstvo pro místní rozvoj ČR Vás i letosseznámí s aktivitami, kterým se věnovalo v oblasti cestovního ruchuza rok 2012. Jedná se zejména o statistické informace a trendycestovního ruchu, aktivity v oblasti koncepční, legislativní amezinárodní činnosti v cestovním ruchu. Tyto aktivity majícharakter jednak správních činností vycházející z kompetencí MMR ČRjako ústředního orgánu státní správy anebo jsou zaměřeny kekonkrétním opatřením podporující rozvoj cestovního ruchu v Českérepublice.Ze statistického hlediska je možné výkonnost odvětví cestovníhoruchu v České republice za rok 2012 hodnotit spíše jako obdobídalšího oživení, avšak ne všechny výkonnostní parametry odvětví sepodařilo dostat na předkrizovou úroveň roku 2007. Dopady celé řadyúsporných opatření aplikovaných jak v České republice, tak naněkterých důležitých zdrojových trzích se projevily zejména vestagnujících příjmech cestovního ruchu. Lze očekávat, že se tatoskutečnost nezmění ani v budoucnu, neboť je plně v souladu strendem zkracujících se dovolených. Můžeme však zmínit, důležitéaktivity za rok 2012, které MMR ČR podniklo k vytvoření lepšíchpodmínek v oblasti cestovního ruchu, jakými jsou: tvorba novéKoncepce státní politiky cestovního ruchu na období 2014 – 2020,která byla připravována společně s Marketingovou koncepcícestovního ruchu na období 2013 – 2020 agentury CzechTourism. Novápolitika je s ohledem na uplatnění celé řady inovativních přístupůk podpoře cestovního ruchu příslibem pro další období, které budespojené s možností využívání finančních prostředků na podporucestovního ruchu v dalším programovém období Evropské unie.
