Pocket Flora is a tool for identifying about 450 species of wildflowers.

Ornidroid is a free and open source application for birdwatchers.It has a database of around 450 European common species.Ornidroidprovides : a search engine on bird names in many Europeanlanguagesand also in Japanese and Chinese. A search on scientificnames isalso available. a multi criteria search : you can browsebirds byfeather colour, category, size, etc... for each species,there aremultimedia resources (zoomable pictures, sound records), ashortdescription (only in French) and the list of the names indifferentlanguages. You can download pictures and sounds while youuse theapplication. If you want to use Ornidroid when you areoffline, youcan install the full packages of sounds and pictures onyour device(around 200 Mb are needed).
