El Congreso en el contexto del Estado Moderno,es la institución e instrumento político representativo, vinculadoal principio de la soberanía popular, es el Parlamento, entendidoéste, como la asamblea en que reside el Poder Legislativo, sobretodo en los regimenes presidenciales, como en el caso de nuestropaís.    
  
El artículo 3º de la Constitución Política del Estado Libre ySoberano de San Luis Potosí, establece que “el estado de San LuisPotosí adopta para su régimen interior la forma de gobiernorepublicano, representativo y popular, y lo ejerce por medio de lospoderes Legislativo, Ejecutivo y Judicial…”.
         
Asimismo, el artículo 40 señala que  “el ejercicio del PoderLegislativo se deposita en una asamblea de Diputados, que sedenomina el Congreso del Estado, la cual se renovará totalmentecada tres años”.

Esta App tiene la intención de fortalecer el vínculo decomunicación con la ciudadanía.

Congress in the contextof the modern state is the institution and instrument politicalrepresentative, linked to the principle of popular sovereignty,that is the Parliament, understood as the assembly in which thelegislative power rests, especially in presidential regimes, as inthe case of our country.

Article 3 of the Constitution of the Free and Sovereign State ofSan Luis Potosi, states that "the state of San Luis Potosi adoptinternal rules for the form of republican, representative andpopular government, and is exercised through the legislativeExecutive and Judicial ... ".
 
Furthermore, Article 40 states that "the exercise of legislativepower is vested in a meeting of Deputies, called the StateCongress, which is completely renewed every three years."
