THIS IS NOT A TAXI BOOKING APPLICATION FOR PASSENGERS. TheTaxi4taxi application is the taxi driver’s mobile office. The useof theapplication requires a contract and registration with thetaxicompany, and activation with a pairing code. Once theseconditionsare met, the following features will make your daily workeasier: •The status of your fare is indicated towards theheadquarters •Fares organized in an automated, optimized way,depending on thetime spent waiting at the taxi stand, or yourdistance from thepassenger • Features helping your positioning:taxis waiting on thetaxi stands, localization of other taxis in thecity • Automaticstand registration based on your GPS coordinate •Displayingpassenger and fare information on screen • Map tracking,panicalert in case of an attack • “Where is my passenger” functionifyour passenger booked through the application • Notificationsentto the passenger (via application or SMS) if you have arrivedatthe pick up address • Text messages from the headquarters•Complaint or event reporting to the headquarters • Warning signs•Allow the app to access your phone's location in the background.Ifyou do not do this, the application will not proceed fromtheapplication permissions interface because background accesstolocation data is a prerequisite for proper operation.
