It displays a surprising amount oftime, weather, and astronomy information in a compact format that'seasy to scan. You can keep tabs on what's going on around you inthe natural world and look good while doing it. Installing theOrbital Weather app on your phone does not make the faces availableon your watch. To do that you need to go into the Watchmaker app(available on Google Play) on your phone, go to the My Watchesarea, select the face you want to install, and tap the "Send toWatch" button. The face you sent will then appear as one of theoptions under the "Watchmaker" face in the face selector on yourwatch. The app includes one face for round watches, another forsquare, and the minimalist Orbital Classic "dress" face that adaptsto both. The concept for Orbital Weather is of a watch that couldactually be built with moving parts. The weather icon and numberswould be made with OLEDs. Here is a tour of the features: Topsub-dial shows the current time along with sunrise, sunset,[moonrise], [moonset], [low tide], and [high tide]. The moon isshown in its current phase. An arc around the moon indicates itscurrent age. A digital time display next to the top sub-dial can beturned on and off in Settings. The digital time will also appearwhenever the hands are not showing the time. The bottom sub-dial isthe stopwatch with hands for hours, minutes, and seconds. When notreset there will also be digital displays that include hundredths.The lower right sub-dial shows charge levels for the watch andphone. The upper left sub-dial shows the wind direction, averagespeed, and [gust speed]. The lower left sub-dial shows relativehumidity, [probability of precipitation], and the air pressure.[The triangle to the right indicates the air pressure trend.] Thefar left icon shows the forecast for the current day [or thecurrent conditions]. [The icon turns yellow after an hour ofweather update errors and red after four hours of errors.] Thenumbers on the left show the forecast high and low, the currenttemperature, and [the feelslike apparent tempearature]. [The degreesymbol after the current temperature turns red if the feelsliketemperature is higher than the current temperature and blue if itis lower.] If you are using the "WM Phone Notification Mode" app(available on Google Play) your phone's notification mode (normal,vibrate, or silent) will be shown near the top hour mark on theouter dial. The red line on the outer dial indicates magneticNorth. Tapping the top sub-dial switches tap modes from Normal toStopwatch to Settings and back. Tapping the center will move themain hands to a position where all sub-dials and windows areunobstructed. Tapping the bottom sub-dial will toggle your phonebetween normal and vibrate-only notifications modes if you areusing the "WM Phone Notification Mode" app (available on GooglePlay). Otherwise it will toggle the display between normal and allblack. In Stopwatch mode tapping the bottom sub-dial starts orstops and tapping the center resets. The faceandhands can be set to display standard 12-hour time or 24-hourtime.There are optional windows for the day of the week, the day ofthemonth, and the temperature. There are also optional indicatorsforthe day of the lunar cycle and the times of moonrise,moonset,sunrise, sunset, and the current 24-hour time.
