「仙台時間地図」は３つの時代の古地図を現在の地図や自分の位置情報に重ね合わせる事ができるアプリです。・各地図の紹介【明治編】「最近実測仙台市街全図」（明治40年発行　所蔵／風の時編集部）明治政府は中央集権を図る目的で、明治4（1871）年に東京、大阪、熊本とともに仙台（仙台城二の丸）に軍政機関である「鎮台」を設置した。明治21年、鎮台から師団制に移行し、仙台はそのまま「第二師団」となった。翌年、市制が施行され、本地図は「仙台市」になっておよそ20年後の様子が描かれる。地図周りに描かれる軍施設や駅舎などの絵から、当時の仙台の様子を垣間見ることができます。明治26年、27年発行の別の地図に掲載されている絵も追加し、仙台を俯瞰して見ることができるように工夫しました。【大正編】「最近実測仙台市街全図」（大正15年発行　所蔵／風の時編集部）大正15（1926）年に発行されたこの地図の一番の見どころは、「仙台市電」の一部区間の開通である。仙台駅から大町一丁目、仙台駅から荒町が開通し、その後、長町、北仙台、八幡町、原町へと延伸していった。また、大正11年に仙台軌道が一部開通、大正14年には宮城電気鉄道（現・ＪＲ仙石線）が仙台～西塩釜間で開通するなど、前の時代に比べ鉄道敷設がぐんと進む様子が伺えます。大正～昭和初期に発行された絵葉書印刷は、現在の主流となっているオフセット印刷とは比べられないほど美しい階調で再現されている。併せてご覧ください。【昭和30年代編】「最新精密仙台観光地図_」（昭和32～35年発行　所蔵／風の時編集部）戦後新設された青葉通と広瀬通が描かれ、ランドマークとなる建物名・旧町名も記されており、現在の仙台の街並みと比較しやすい地図である。道路地図に発行年が記載されていないために明確な年は不明ではあるが、仙台市電が全線開通（昭和24年）、仙台鉄道が廃線（昭和25年）しており、旧町名を使用している（昭和40年頃まで）時代までの間。また、裏面の仙台案内に「40万の人口を擁し」とあることなどから、昭和32～35年発行の地図と推測しました。昭和30～40年代に発行された「市政だより」や「グラフせんだい」に掲載された仙台市広報課所有の写真を使用しました。■アプリ特徴* 古地図とGPS情報を対応づけており、古地図上に現在地を表示します。* GPS情報に基づき現在地が移動し古地図の上を歩いているような感覚を味わえます。* 古地図と標準地図との表示を切り替えることができます。* 古地図と標準地図同士の切り替え時に、回転機能により、方位が合って表示されます■お断り1. 動作システム対象のOSであっても、機種によっては挙動が異なることがあります。2.
