The band was formed in 2005 in Jacksonville, FL by singersongwriterJeff Congo, and balances both cover and original shows.Whetherperforming covers at clubs or corporate events, ororiginalssupporting a major act, the audience can expect a highenergy,interactive experience they are sure to engage in, andbuild alasting memory!

Since forming in 2005, the band has performed over 1,000 shows(bothcover and original), in venues like Tootsies Word FamousOrchidLounge in Nashville, TN, The Jacksonville Landing inJacksonville,FL, and GTMO - Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Austin Park hasprovidedsupport for talented major recording artists such as3OH!3, RedJumpsuit Apparatus, Molly Hatchet, RED, Saving Abel,Yellow Card,Country starts Joey and Rory, and many, manyothers.

In June of 2000, guided by his drive for musical chemistry,Jeffrelocated from Boston, MA to Jacksonville, FL., where he metBMIrecording artist singer songwriter producer Lucio Rubino(StorySideB, Paramore, Flock of Sea Gulls). The duo quickly beganwriting andrecording songs together. After five years and an albumworth ofsongs in his hand, Congo turned to the local music sceneandrecruited a talented line-up of local musicians, such asPrestonPohl (The Voice, Season 5), and began performing aroundtheNortheast Florida region.

In 2008, the band released their self-titled debut album, andsawinternational success when their single, “The Real Me,”wasfeatured by Julie Hadden (the Biggest Loser, Season 4), onherweight loss transformation video. Julie also quotedinspirationallines from the song in her book, “Fat Chance: LosingWeight,Gaining My Worth.”

The band signed with Gray Area Marketing in 2013, withPublicistKatie Mancusso. A mid-summer trip performing showcasesinNashville, TN in 2013 proved a worthwhile trip. After aperformanceat the World Famous, Tootsies Orchid Lounge, Jeff wasapproached byproducers at ZOD Lounge Productions and began writingwith manywell-known Nashville songwriters, (such as ScottFairclough,Lifehouse), working on new songs for the band.

Their lead-off single titled, “Life in Dixie,” was co-writtenbyJeff Congo and Scott Fairclough (Lifehouse), will hit iTunesearly2015. The band has since been spending their timebetweenJacksonville and Nashville writing and recording songs foranupcoming album release.
