Conflicts: Kursk - The Biggest Tank Battle isa turn based strategy game set on the Eastern Front during theSecond World War.Historical background: In 1943 Germans hoped to shorten the Russianfront by eliminating the Kursk Salient, which had been created inthe aftermath of the Battle of Stalingrad. Wehrmacht, focusingmajority of their elite divisions on the Eastern Front on thisrelatively small area, envisioned Panzer spearheads breakingthrough northern and southern flanks of the salient to encircle theRed Army forces.
