This is the Official App for School of OpenLearning, University of Delhi (SOL).The School of Open Learning [a part of the Campus of OpenLearning] formerly known as The School of Correspondence Coursesand Continuing Education, established under the University of Delhiin 1962, is a pioneer Institution in the field of DistanceEducation in India.The country witnessed the beginning of an alternate mode ofeducation when the School started with a modest admission of 900students in 1962. The School enrolled more than two lakhs studentsin the Academic Session 2006-2007. On many occasions our studentshave been toppers in various disciplines. The admission process forvarious courses in the School is governed by the norms establishedby the University of Delhi. The examination is also conducted bythe University of Delhi. The University of Delhi confers the degreeto the students of the School as it does in the case of its otherconstituent colleges. There is no differentiation in the coursecurriculum followed by the School of Open Learning and otherconstituent colleges and Departments of the University of Delhi. Inan effort to cater to the needs of a growing number of students theSchool established the South Study Centre at Moti Bagh from theacademic session 1990-91. In an effort to reach out to a largernumber of students the school is in the process of opening up StudyCentre in the Eastern and the Western part of the National CapitalRegion of Delhi.
