Southern California's leading conference forIT governance control security and assurance. The conferenceprogram and registration is available for the L.A. ISACA chapter'sannual spring conference at http://isacala.org/conference. Lastyear the conference attracted over 325 IT assurance, security andgovernance professionals in the Southern California area. TheChapter is excited to have the Michael Rasmussen, Chief GRC Punditof GRC 20/20 to be our keynote speaker on " GRC by Design: Takingan Architecture Approach to Governance Risk Management &Compliance" and incoming International ISACA President, RobertStroud, moderate the keynote panel on this topic.

We will also have a variety of program presentations in thefollowing tracks: Accelerating Your Fundamentals; InformationSecurity Issues and Leading Practice; Emerging Issues, Tools &Techniques; and Managing Governance, Risk and Compliance. Thepre-conference workshops include "Cloud Computing Security,” and“Risk Scenario Analysis: The Heart of Risk Management.”

We are also excited to offer a two-day CRISC Review Boot Camp withthe instructor that offers the same workshop at ISACA's past GRCand CACS conference at a substantially reduced rate. This workshopwill help you prepare for the CRISC certification. Finally, we areoffering the two-day COBIT5 Foundation Course and exam. This courseis usually offered at $1500 and above. The chapter is subsidizingthis and offering this at $300 plus the $150 exam feel. Once youpass the exam, you will receive your COBIT5 FoundationalCertificate. Seating is limited.

Finally, register early! Spaces in the workshops and conferencesessions are limited. Each year several popular sessions fill upquickly and late registrants have to select alternativesessions.
