Montammy Golf Club in Northern New Jersey’sBergen County is a full service private country club, located inthe rolling hills of the Palisades above the Hudson River, inAlpine, New Jersey. Montammy Golf Club is near NYC, only 8 milesnorth of the George Washington Bridge.

Founded in 1966, the Montammy Golf Club offers its members andguests a challenging and well-maintained 18 hole championship golfcourse, six Har-Tru Hydro and two Hard-Top tennis courts, and aspacious and welcoming clubhouse, with dining, locker and athleticfacilities and a swimming area with children’s playground.

The country club golf course, completed in 1966, was designed byFrank Duane, a renowned architect who previously had worked withRobert Trent Jones and then Arnold Palmer. Mr. Duane constructed arolling, tree lined golf course that is picturesque andchallenging. Over the last five years, the course renovation planhas transformed the course into Bergen County’s country clubemerald gem. Playable for all, the course has five sets of tees,ranging from 5,400 yards from the forward tees to 6875 yards fromthe championship tees. The greens are large and receptive withconsiderable undulation.

Tennis enthusiasts enjoy six Har-Tru Hydro-courts and twoHard-Top courts and a newly constructed and well-stocked tennis proshop. Jam-packed summer long tennis schedules include: Member-GuestTournaments, Mixed-Doubles Events, Club Championship and our newlycreated Montammy Mixed Tennis Invitational.
