Marilyn Style Pop Art Image 1.2
This effect is inspired by the famous silkscreen paintings byAmerican pop artist Andy Warhol. After Marilyn Monroe’s death, PopArt founder Andy Warhol (1923 – 1987) spent four months makingsilkscreens based on a publicity still of Monroe from her film,“Niagara.” Fusing art with mass production, Warhol createdbrilliantly colored multiples of her image. Fascinated by morbidsubjects and celebrity, he symbolized Monroe’s mortality, and hermedia saturation through brash, assembly-line reproductions of herface.
