Random time sampling is a sociology based study that collectsinformation about the participants activity in a day. Traditionallydone by phone call or beeper with a paper diary that theparticipant keeps, the RTS app by Working Time Research allowsparticipants to use their own smartphone to participate and keepthe diary on their device, automatically sending up to the studydatabase when they are online.
