Church App, formerly originated with asmallgroup of people meeting together to learn about God. Fromthisbeginning in 1967, the church has grown and become home tohundredsof Christians from a variety of backgrounds, age groupsandcultures.

The founding pastor of Church, Rob Homer, led the church asitgradually outgrew a number of different venues in theWaverleyarea. Rob, who is recognized for his tremendous faith andvision,was to see the realization of his dream to establish apermanenthome for the church when the present site was purchased in1982 andbuilding commenced. It was at this time that Deni Connerand hisfamily returned to Perth after 10 years in the USA. Denijoined thechurch staff and together with Rob saw the churchcontinue togrow.
