The application Sifnos Trails is adigitalfield guide for the trail network SifnosTrails. The totallength ofthe network exceeds 100 km and is divided into 19beautifultrails.The project started in 2015 and is being managed by theMunicipalityof Sifnos in collaboration with "Paths ofGreece".The ultimate aim of the Sifnos Trails project is to helptheisland’s visitors explore its natural and cultural beauties inapleasant way.The application offers off-line maps and detailed description,aninteractive list of POIs and photos for each one of the 19route.In the field, the app provides active navigation tothehiker.All app elements, the text, the photos, the routes andthecartography are genuine information collected, written andcompiledby the group Paths of Greece.The management of the cartography and the development oftheapplication was done by the cartographic company AnaDigit.The creation of the application was funded by AegeanSpeedLines.
