A Igreja Presbiteriana Nacional, sediada emBrasília desde a fundação da Capital Federal em 1960, tem umcompromisso com a Bíblia Sagrada, como regra de fé e de prática,adotando os Padrões de Westminster (Confissão de Fé, BreveCatecismo e Catecismo Maior) como exposição fiel dos temasabordados nas Escrituras. Em 16 de setembro de 1984, aIgrejaPresbiteriana Unida de São Paulo estabeleceu em Alphavilleumacongregação, liderada pelo então Presbítero Carlos AlbertoBritoBraz. Na época, não havia nenhum trabalho desenvolvido porigrejasevangélicas naquele bairro.Iniciaram-se reuniões em residências do bairro até que houveanecessidade de realizar os cultos num local maior.Apósautorização, foi realizado o primeiro culto de instalaçãodostrabalhos da Congregação de Alphaville, no InstitutoPresbiterianoMackenzie Tamboré, no dia 20 de Julho de 1985.Os cultos permaneceram neste local até serem transferidos paraoendereço atual, no dia 20 de dezembro de 1987. As celebraçõeseramrealizadas em um pequeno edifício, que atualmente é o salãosocialda igreja. Em 1991, o templo atual, ainda que inacabado,passou aser utilizado.Em 22 de setembro de 1991, a congregação foi organizada comoIgrejaPresbiteriana e foi instalado como pastor evangelista o Rev.CarlosAlberto Brito Braz, que concluíra seu curso de teologia eforaordenado pastor em janeiro de 1989. Em 2000 foi outorgado àigrejao direito real de uso do terreno anexo à igreja (atual quadra/estacionamento) e em 2002 foi ampliado em mais dois pavimentosoedifício de classes para a Escola Dominical.Em 2005, o Rev. Carlos Alberto Brito Braz tornou-se pastor Eméritoeo Rev. Hilder Campagnuci Stutz assumiu como Pastor titulardaIPAlpha. Naquele ano de 2008, o templo foi ampliado parapoderacolher 500 pessoas.On September 16, 1984,theUnited Presbyterian Church of St. Paul in Alphavilleestablished acongregation, led by the then priest Carlos AlbertoBrito Braz. Atthe time, there was no work of evangelical churchesin thatneighborhood. Às 15 horas do dia 11 de julho de 1961, na QNE27, Lote 16, foi inaugurado um salão de cultos, sob o pastorado doRev. Paul John Cobletz, missionário norte americano, vinculado àMissão Oeste do Brasil, pastor da Primeira Igreja Presbiteriana deTaguatinga. No domingo seguinte, dia 18 do mesmo mês e ano, foiorganizada neste local uma Escola Dominical, com 110 alunosmatriculados, tendo como obreiro responsável o Evangelista SeverinoFrancisco da Silva.Sob a proteção de Deus, os esforços dos obreiros acima citados e dediversos irmãos, bem como pela transferência de outros membros, otrabalho desenvolveu-se rapidamente.Atendendo ao pedido do Conselho da 1ª IPT, o Presbitério deBrasília, reunido em Anápolis, entre os dias 10 e 13 de janeiro de1962, resolveu organizar em igreja sua Congregação da QNE 27,nomeando para tal expediente a seguinte comissão: Rev. EudaldoSilva Lima e os presbíteros: Eudox Inácio Ramos e Sólon Emerick deSouza, cuja organização e instalação ocorreram, respectivamente,nos dias 5 e 9 de setembro de 1962, nascendo assim a Segunda IgrejaPresbiteriana de Taguatinga. A referida igreja foi organizada com196 membros, sendo 108 comungantes e 88 não comungantes. É umaigreja que já nasceu forte e forte continua até hoje, graças aDeus.Nos dias 21 e 22 de outubro de 2000 foi inaugurado e consagrado aDeus o templo localizado na QNG AE 34 em Taguatinga-DF. No dia 08de agosto de 2004 foi inaugurado e consagrado a Deus o amplo econfortável prédio de educação cristã.Esta igreja reconhece a dedicação de cada um de seus obreiros, e detodos os seus membros. Vivemos uma uniãodesentimentos marcada pelo compromisso com o Reino de Deus, quesemove em direção especial àqueles que ainda não tiveram enãotêm tido a oportunidade de ouvir o Evangelho,pelo menos umavez.Nosso alvo final é a Tailândia e, de modo geral, asetniaspresentes na região da “Fronteira Dourada” – ao norte dopaís.Logo, estamos nos preparando para um trabalho de longoprazo,ligado à Tradução da Bíblia, à Plantação de Igrejas emmeioa contextos sociais budistas e à Formação deLiderançasNativas.Enquanto isso ainda não acontece, concluiremos asdiversasetapas de treinamento no Brasil, todas requeridas pelanossa Igrejae por sua própria agência de missões transculturais– APMT. Emmeio a isso, nós nos dedicaremos a projetosmissionários ligadosà Missão ALEM, a partir de Brasília-DF.Na Missão ALEM, em termos de grupos socioculturaisespecíficos,nosso trabalho será direcionado aos SurdosBrasileiros usuários daLíngua Brasileira de Sinais – Libras comoprimeira ferramenta decomunicação (L1). A Igreja Presbiteriana do Calváriofoiorganizada no ano do centenário da Igreja Presbiteriana deSorocabaem 1969. No início desse ano, algumas pessoas passaram a sereunirna casa dos irmãos Walmir de Campos e Esdras de Moraes, e, jánomês de março, contavam com trinta pessoas, exigindo-se aprocurapor um espaço maior. Pensou-se em alugar uma sala pequena,modesta,mas para surpresa de todos chegou a notícia de que umvelhoedifício na rua Monsenhor Soares estava para alugar. Era umamplosalão térreo, com sete grandes salas no pavimento superior,sendoque duas delas foram adaptadas, provendo-se lugar para centoecinquenta pessoas. Os irmãos Paulo Breda Filho e FranciscoSócratesde Oliveira Camargo assumiram o encargo de alugar o imóvel,até queo Presbitério de Sorocaba se mostrou favorável à organizaçãodanova igreja.No dia 06 de abril do mesmo ano, realizou-se o primeiro cultonolocal, às 9h30min da manhã. Era domingo de Páscoa e conquentaequatro pessoas estavam presentes. A Igreja, no entanto,foiorganizada oficialmente em 1º de junho de 1969, com trinta etrêsmembros comungantes (adultos) e onze não comungantes(crianças),formando-se, assim, em Sorocaba, mais uma família da fé,a "famíliacalvariana". Já no culto de organização, foi recebidopelaprofissão de fé e batismo o Sr. Romeu Vergili - a igreja, noato desua organização, já estava crescendo!Com o passar dos anos, a igreja cresceusubstancialmente,passando por ela diversos pastores, ministros doevangelhodedicados a edificar uma igreja saudável, até os diasatuais.Declaração De Propósitos:"Apresentar Jesus às pessoas, integrando-as na família dafé,ensinando-as a crescer espiritualmente e capacitando-as paraoministério, a fim de juntos glorificarmos a Deus."Nossos Cinco Propósitos:Evangelização, Comunhão, Discipulado, Ministério e Adoração.Nosso Compromisso:O compromisso com o "grande mandamento" (Mt. 22:37-40) e a"grandecomissăo" (Mt. 28:19-20) fará crescer um cristăo forte e umaigrejasaudável.Nosso Alvo:Edificar pessoas para que o Senhor continue edificandoSuaIgreja.Nosso Slogan:Uma família de braços abertos para vocę.The Presbyterian ChurchofCalvary was organized in the year of the centenary ofthePresbyterian Church of Sorocaba in 1969. No início dos anos 90 alguns jovensindígenassentiram o desejo de fazer ouvir sua voz frente ao governoe asquestões políticas eminente no país. Ao juntarmos forças paraestesdebates fomos barrados por parte do governo entendendo queessasmanifestações poderiam ir contra as políticas epráticasgovernamentais que atuavam no momento. Porém como setratavam deindígenas, outras portas foram abertas para que demaneira maisdiscreta pudéssemos colocar nossas opiniões e voz.Durante aqueles primeiros anos poucos avanços se derampormotivos mais diversos que trouxeram muito desânimoedesencorajamento por parte dos indígenas de que devíamos seguircomas idéias até então levantadas. Nessa ocasião nasceramváriosmovimentos indígenas entre elas a UNE (União dos PovosIndígenas)que já no seu berço não puderam colocar suas idéias emprática.Mesmo assim aqueles jovens indígenas estavam buscandooutroscaminhos para que pudessem ser ouvidos de uma maneira maisclara emsuas propostas e desejos.Os anos se passaram e no início dos anos noventa vimosoutromovimento tomar forma, ainda bem quietinho com passos bemlentos,que seguia outro rumo com propostas da unidade dos povosindígenas,por meio de diálogos junto ao governo e as entidadesevangélicas.Havia uma grande lacuna entre o entendimento de quemeram osindígenas e isso deixava uma grande distância entre eles.Odesconhecimento da sociedade cristã e não cristãcriavamestereótipos com a qual minavam qualquer ajuntamento pormaispassivo que fosse. Com a grande perseguição que algumasagênciasmissionárias estavam passando e as acusações de queestavamestragando a "cultura do índio" houve a necessidade, de maisumavez a voz ativa do índio, que nesse período vários "parentes"(umnome que damos aos nosso patrícios) já sentiam a necessidadedeserem mais ousados em suas palavras e comunicação e querepercutiunos segmentos evangélicos e não evangélicos um ardedescontentamento e preocupação mais ou menos assim: O que équeagora eles vão falar?Foi nesse momento que nasceu o CONPLEI (Conselho NacionaldePastores e Líderes Evangélicos Indígenas), que já no se âmagotinhaem suas propostas o diálogo aberto e sério com convicçõespostadasem seu preparo nas mais diversas esferas acadêmicas; o quetrouxeum grande susto e apreensão no meio dos estudiosos, mídia,igrejasbem como em outras partes do seguimento da sociedade. Foientendidoque era hora de compartilhar nossa visão e sonho, de queemboradiferente em seu modo de vida, tinha algo a contribuir comasociedade. O povo evangélico conhecia apenas doismovimentosmissiológicos: a estrangeira e a nacional. Mas haviaoutromovimento a que estamos chamando de terceira ondamissionária;índios evangelizando outros índios.O CONPLEI trouxe um novo modelo de unidade sem marketing enemholofotes, porém, com humildade e paixão, a ver o reino deDeuscrescer. Cremos que Deus levantou um novo momento nocenáriomissionário brasileiro que ao longo dos anos ficou apagadoporconta de perseguições ou simplesmente por falta de umcompromissosério do povo de Deus em relação ao seu reino. Com umolhar maisdirecionado puderam contemplar um novo seguimento de quea seara jáestava branca para a colheita, ou seja, os rios, matas eigarapésapontavam um novo caminho ou uma nova navegação para estanovacolheita.O CONPLEI almeja que a visão de alcançar as tribos doBrasilpossa ser sua também. O clamor daqueles que se encontrampresospelos espíritos e longe de um relacionamento com Deus nãopode serignorado. Certamente este é o tempo de Deus na história. Oqueparecia ser um fracasso Deus transformou em bênçãos. É hora deaigreja sair de seu ambiente acomodado para se envolver notrabalhode missões indígenas junto conosco. O que nos distancia nãoé tantoa questão cultural mas a falta de informações corretas e afalta devisão diante do clamor dos perdidos.In the early 90ssomeyoung Indians felt the desire to make their voices heardagainstthe government and eminent political issues in the country.To joinforces for these debates were barred by the governmentunderstandthat these demonstrations could go against governmentpolicies andpractices that were active at the time. We believe that God raised up a new era in theBrazilianmissionary scenario that over the years was deletedbecause ofpersecution or simply for lack of a serious commitment ofthepeople of God in relation to his kingdom.
