De Zandweg Route voert de wandelaar vanaf derand van Zelhem naar het buitengebied. De route loopt grotendeelsover lange zandwegen, welke uniek zijn voor dit gebied. De totaleroute is circa 9 kilometer lang, maar routeverkorting onderweg ismogelijk. Onderweg komt u circa 500 meter geasfalteerde weg tegenen een klinkerweg, maar de rest is allemaal zandwegen.
