The National Terrorism Advisory System, or NTAS, replacesthecolor-coded Homeland Security Advisory System (HSAS). Thissystemwill more effectively communicate information aboutterroristthreats by providing timely, detailed information to thepublic,government agencies, first responders, airports andothertransportation hubs, and the private sector.
