Overview
The Arial® Mobile Application has been designed to workseamlesslywith STANLEY Healthcare’s Arial® Wireless Emergency CallSystem toprovide senior living caregivers with an innovative toolforhandling emergency call alarms and communicatingcollaborativelywith their coworkers. The Arial® Mobile Applicationis packed withintuitive features to ensure community caregivershave visibilityto all relevant alarms, their status and who isresponding.

Alarm Message Handling
• Receive Alarms – receives call station and pendant alarmsfromanywhere in the facility, using a mobile device, based onthecaregiver's assigned zone
• Alarm Information – critical alarm information is providedwitheach message including date, time, alarm name/type andalarmlocation
• Rich Alarm Messages – alarm messages can include images oriconsfor resi¬dents or devices, alarm type color designations andcan bearranged by alarm priority
• Respond to Alarms – acceptance of alarms provides notificationtocoworkers of who is responding
• Escalations – Escalating non-addressed alarms isintuitivelysynchronized with the escalations programmed in theArialsoftware

Caregiver/Resident Encounters
• Alarm Notes – selectable alarm notes can be pre-configuredinArial to allow caregivers to document what was done duringtheirencounter
• Custom Notes – caregivers can type in custom notes detailinganencounter for any accepted alarm response
• Alarm Completion – caregivers end the encounter by pressinga“Complete” button, which saves the alarm notes and capturestheactual encounter time with the resident

Caregiver Text Messaging and Collaboration
• Live Directory – a live directory displays all caregiversandindicates those that are currently logged in and working atthefacility
• Text Messaging – caregivers can collaborate to coordinateresidentcare by initiating a text message conversation withothercaregivers
- Each message includes date and time
- Messages from each caregiver are differently colored
- Messages that fail to send are colored red
- Messages and conversations are preserved for 24 hours


Enhanced Reporting
• Encounter Times – by collecting alarm clearance andalarmcompletion times, Arial is able to log the actual “encountertime”that a caregiver spends with a resident. This is the timesegmentbetween when the call station or pendent in alarm is resetand whenthe caregiver “completes” the alarm in the mobileapplication
- Encounter times and average encounter time information canbeselected and filtered into a large variety of reports withintheArial software
- Average encounter times have been incorporated into theArialManagement Dashboard as a data element
• Alarm Response Activities – the alarm response activities thatareselected by caregivers when completing alarms are logged intotheArial database and are available for generatingcomprehensivereports
