Formula Student (FS) is Europe'smostestablished educational motorsport competition, run bytheInstitution of Mechanical Engineers. Backed by industry andhighprofile engineers such as our Patron Ross Brawn OBE,thecompetition aims to inspire and develop enterprising andinnovativeyoung engineers. Universities from across the globe arechallengedto design and build a single-seat racing car in order tocompete instatic and dynamic events, which demonstrate theirunderstandingand test the performance of the vehicle.
