mobileRINGS is an Android application forusersto utilize RINGS tools to analyze glycan structures. RINGS(Resourcefor INformatics of Glycomes at Soka) is a web resourcefor theanalysis of glycan structures using bioinformaticstechniques suchas data mining and computational theory . mobileRINGS provides access to four RINGS tools: Glycan Miner,GPP(Glycan Pathway Predictor), ProfilePSTMM, and MCA W(MultipleCarbohydrate Alignment with Weights):

Glycan Miner: To mine alpha-closed frequent subtrees from asetof glycan structures.

GPP: To dynamically compute the N-glycan biosynthesispathwayfrom a given glycan structure.

ProfilePSTMM: To use a probabilistic model that can findpatterns(profiles) in glycan structures.

MCAW: To align a set of glycan structures and visualizetheresults as a glycan profile.
