Celebrating 25 years: Minnesota Governor'sFoodSafety and Defense Task ForceSince 1990, the Governor’s Food Safety and Defense Task Forcehascontinuously met to discuss the issues affecting Minnesota’sfoodsystem. Officially, 16 members consisting of the CommissionerofAgriculture, the Commissioner of Health, representatives of theFoodand Drug Administration and the United States DepartmentofAgriculture, the Agricultural Utilization Research Institute,theUniversity of Minnesota, a local health food inspection agency,andnine additional members representing the public, food,andagriculture industries and groups comprise the Task Force.
