The ultraviolet index or UV Index is aninternational standard measurement of the strength ofsunburn-producing ultraviolet (UV) radiation at a particular placeand time. The purpose of the UV Index is to help people effectivelyprotect themselves from UV radiation, which has health benefits inmoderation but in excess causes sunburn, skin aging, DNA damage,skin cancer and eye damage such as cataracts.So there is always a need to find value of UV index before you stepout of indoors. This is the very purpose of UVcheck. Thisapplication helps users in finding out the UV index in a geographiclocality.User can either select location from map(search facility is alsoprovided) OR ask app to find UV index for current location. Apartfrom displaying current UV index, app has the facility to showhourly report OR daily report.Hourly report:It shows a bar graph which displays UV index for next5 hours including current hour.Daily report: It displays a bar graph which carries maximum UVindex for next 5 days including current day. Time of max UV indexis also displayed.PS:Currently, daily report is accurate for US and UK regionsonly.
